Kite Flying

Kite Flying by the Sea

Gabe with the Alien kite. Gabe's holding the kite for Martin. The closest we got to Pacific Ocean. Hock let his kite roam in the blue sky.
Martin was doing a pretty good job in maneuvering his two-string kite. My Alien dominated the sky! You don't know what freedom is until you fly a kite. Release all your string and let the kite touch the sky.
Gabe picked up an empty bottle by the sea. He put a message in it and threw it out. Hopefully someone from the other end of the ocean is going to pick it up one day. One last shot with our kites before sunset. We continued our tradition of kite-flying in Victoria Island, Canada (it's a totem in the background).
You can't see my Alien because it was the highest object at the Port of Victoria that day. The wind was so strong at the Victoria Harbor that it really messed up our hair. When my Alien was 1000 ft up in the sky, it had its own mind. After toying with a seaplane, it hooked its string to a moving boat and was dragged into the sea. It took us a while to fish it up from the sea. We were so happy that we were able to save the Alien's ass!
